Sask Liberal Leader keeps making stuff up!

Seriously, how is this guy allowed to just get away with making stuff up left and right?

The Canadian Federation of Students website is trying to compare all the platforms of the two main parties in Saskatchewan and for some reason they let the Liberals play too.

Interestingly when it comes to Tuition the NDP is the only party that gets an A (The Sask Party is the only one to get an F on the report card)

But here is the interesting thing. What is the Liberal Plan?

The Liberal Party achieved a grade of B for their promise to continue the tuition freeze for 10 years.
REALLY?

That would cost in the range of a BILLION dollars, that is a hell of a lot of money. You would think they would mention that in, oh, I don't know.

Their PLATFORM!!!

and yet, not so much.

Not a cent.

The same amount budged for their Debt-Free-In-A-Decade-Scheme.

Seriously, why not just go around promising solid gold toilets for everyone? while you are pulling policies out of your ass, David, why not make them interesting.

Why does the media let this guy get away with this stuff.

Oh well, when you are only going to get 6-7% of the vote on election day and win no seats I guess no one takes you seriously, but still.

The stupid pronouncements of the leader don't help. If I was a liberal I would be calling for his head.

True, true. Mr. Karwacki may be a bit, shall we say, prone to prevarication but he will beat Quennell unless the NDP quietly convince two or three hundred of their uber-faithful supporters to statically (gulp) vote for Roger Parent. Failing that "no seat" media darling Karwacki will actually have a seat in the legislature and I don't think the NDP wants that.

Mr. Karwacki's vote is tanking in Meewasin, Parent is now the challenger but Quennell will still carry the day. Heck, Karwacki was even at my door trying to convince us to change our vote to him....and I work on the NDP campaigns...

CFS was heavily tied to the NDP while I was at the UofR five years ago. Has it become non-partisan?

Actually mooner, if nobody was a Liberal, Saskatchewan would be better off. :-)

(Sorry John and Saskboy)

No chance. It is a race between the Sask Party and Quennell and i think Frank will hold the seat. He won it in 2003 when he was an unknown, and I head from my Saskatoon friends that he has door-knocked the entire constituency once a year since he was elected. People in Saskatchewan are still prepared to vote for a local candidate that takes them seriously even if they wouldn't normally support that the party that person represents.

A reply for Saskboy's question about the CFS and the NDP.

The President of the U of R Students Union (who also serves as the National Representative for Saskatchewan for the CFS) was the liberal candidate against Brad Wall last election, worked for ralph goodale and is a long time young liberal (even being featured in commercials last federal election)

I would guess this is how the Liberals 'got away' with 'making stuff up' for their education platform as GPM put it. ha

The same way the NDP get away with it, no?
