Now that we know (some) of David MacLean's internet "alter-egos" I have started a compliation of his statements made under these false identities.
As we find more we will add them (feel free to post in the comments if you find one that I missed)
And as noted yesterday, I have had to turn comment moderation on because David was attempting to flood the site with stupid posts. If he wants to post under his own name here, I will allow him to say anything that he wants, but this is now an officially sock puppet-free zone.

"the fact that having a microphone somehow makes you "significant" says a lot about the problems with the media in general.
Taking clips and writing 15 second stories does not "significance" make.
I for one think reporters should have to pass some sort of general knowledge test before they get their microphone."

ok....the hepatitis C comments irritate me most......does this idiot realize HEALTH CARE WORKERS ARE AT RISK?????? 20% of people that have Hepatitis C do not know HOW OR WHEN OR WHERE they got it....unkown etiology. I am a registered nurse and I have Hep C....this guy needs to do a little more research before he comments....and who PUT THIS GUY IN OFFICE?????

I think that is my all time fave. *swoon* He's so awesome, especially how he just KNOWS all socialists are men.
Amen to Robin's comment. Not only do 20% or greater not know where they got it but Viet Nam Vets are a vast majority of Hep C patients, firemen, policemen, docs, nurses, mom's who had C sections and had a blood transfusion, anyone who had a blood transfusion prior to 1992 (do people realize the blood supply had HIV, Hep B and Hep C in it and the poor hemophiliacs got most of these diseases?). Anyone who has had an older tattoo, had your nails done, gone to the dentist, had an invasive medical procedure (Hep C doesn't die when it hits the air like HIV) Yes, right now the highest number of KNOWN patients with HCV are drug addicts because they are in and out of programs that test them for Hep C. When the 4 million missing people with Hepatitis C are finally found (and by this time they will have unknowlingly and unwittingly passed it onto others) I am sure the pendulum will swing back much like it did with the HIV patients in the 80's when everyone thought it was a gay disease. Doesn't anyone do any research before they post?
