What the Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party stands for...
So a poster who goes under the name "Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party" has been posting spam on my site and others'. When challenged over on John Murney's blog the poster had this to say:
So they claim to have over 36,000 members. Which is pretty impressive for a group I had never heard of until they started posting on my blog. So I started trying to find out about them.
With our current membership of over 36 thousand members and growing, asking us who we are would fill several pages of your blogs here.
And them I came across the best electoral Youtube Video ever. This beats the wolf in sheep's clothing video hands down. It conclusively explains what the SDAP stands for.
I am laughing so hard I hurt right now.
Oh, and in case you want to go to an event and actually, you know, meet one of these 36,000 members, you just have to look at thier event calendar here.

first of all, given all the video on the new party web site, your choice of analogy is weak, at best.
Secondly, so they are releasing stuff as they go and keeping the website fresh by having new content. What's the big deal?
Just this week they added a new podcast.
Geeze, the new site must have really spoked you guys over at small dead animals, you all spent an entire week finding ridiculous, stupid "flaws" in the new site.

Our membership is in fact quite strong and growing rapidly (frightening some of the old guard in other parties). There are a couple of reasons why our membership level is higher than other parties memberships - many of those reasons are political and some just very plain simple truths.
The SDAP is currently in the process of setting up a dedicated/hosted website that does not rely on no-cost blogs and calendars (we will still be posting to the google blogs and calendars eventually however).

It was fun picking through the flaws in Oh Media's CMS. Must be a pretty proud lot having their badge on a half completed site being operated by a bunch of inexperienced new media wanna-bes who can't figure out how to fill in the blanks.
Oh yeah, real worried about the NDP running a half ass completed web site that the majority of their old guard will never read, let alone comprehend. They are better off scaring the crap out of little old ladies with Evil TILMA old school print media.
Many of you on the left have barely figured out how to use the free tools like blogspot, let alone run a real web site with a real domain name. At best the left could be better described as over-zealous script kiddies.
